The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) has postponed the written examination for PMS Officer (BPS-17) posts, which was scheduled from 14 to 31 October 2026. The commission has not announced a new date yet and says it will be notified later.
The postponement was issued through an official notice of 12 October 2026. Some websites have reported 31 October as a “new date”, but that was the last day of the original schedule, not a revised one.

What candidates should do now
- Do not travel to an exam centre on the old dates. The whole written exam has been postponed, not a single paper.
- Keep your CNIC, application details and any admission documents you have already downloaded in a safe place. They may be needed again.
- Check the official KPPSC website regularly for the revised schedule.
- Ignore unverified dates on social media or YouTube. Only a notice on the commission’s website counts.
Why was the exam postponed?
The official notice does not give a reason, and news reports say the same. We will update this page when KPPSC publishes a new schedule.
