This guide explains how to apply for KPPSC jobs online through the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission portal. It is for anyone who wants to apply for a post advertised by KPPSC and wants to set up an account and submit the form without avoidable mistakes. KPPSC runs its own Online Application System, and you need a user account on it before you can apply.
Before you start
- Check the KPPSC advertisement page for the post you want. When we checked on 13 October 2026, it showed “No active advertisement”, so no post was open for applications. Watch the page for the next advertisement.
- Read the advertisement carefully for the qualification, age, domicile and last date for your post.
- Keep your CNIC number, your matric certificate and your domicile certificate in front of you. The account form asks for your name as written on your matric certificate and your district of domicile as written on your domicile certificate.
- Use a personal email address that is active, and choose a password you can remember. The portal says a password needs at least 6 characters and allows up to 15.
How to apply for KPPSC jobs online: steps
- Find your advertisement. Open the KPPSC advertisement page and read the notice for your post, including its last date.
- Open the portal. Go to apply.kppsc.gov.pk, the KPPSC Online Application System.
- Create your account (first time only). Choose “Create New User Account”. Enter your full name, gender, CNIC number, district of domicile or zone, email address and password, then create the profile.
- Check every detail before you save. KPPSC warns on this form that you cannot correct these details yourself afterwards, so enter them with full care.
- Log in. Next time, log in with your CNIC and password. If you forget the password, use the “Forgot Password” or “Reset Password” options on the login page.
- Apply for your post. After logging in, select the advertised post and fill in the application. Follow the instructions shown on each screen of the portal.
- Pay the fee and submit. Pay the application fee in the way the advertisement and the portal instruct, then complete your submission before the last date.
Portal screens change from time to time. If anything differs from the steps above, follow what the official site shows. KPPSC also keeps a “How to Apply Online” video tutorial under its candidate support links.
After you apply
- Keep your records: save or print your application and any fee proof for the later stages.
- Watch for updates: KPPSC publishes schedules, test results, interview programmes and e-letters on its website. Check the official site rather than relying on forwarded messages.
- Prepare early: KPPSC has a syllabus page, past papers and interview tips on its website for candidates.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Wrong details in the account form. You cannot fix them yourself later, so match the name to your matric certificate and the district to your domicile certificate.
- Expecting a refund. KPPSC has published a notice that the application fee is not refundable. Apply only if you are eligible.
- Waiting for the last day. Portals get busy near the deadline, so apply early.
- Forgetting your password. Write it down somewhere safe, because the same login is used for every KPPSC application.
- Using unofficial websites. Apply only on the KPPSC portal and do not share your password with anyone.
