Matric supplementary exams postponed 2026: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa boards, including BISE Peshawar, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Swat, Malakand and Abbottabad, have called off the SSC Annual-II (supplementary) papers set for 7, 8, 9 and 10 October 2026. DI Khan and Swat board exams will now start on 12 October. Most other boards will announce new dates for the postponed papers later.
If you are a 9th or 10th class supplementary candidate in KP, do not go to your centre for papers from 7 to 10 October. Keep your roll number slip safe, because papers after 10 October go ahead as per the date sheet.

BISE Peshawar matric supplementary exam 2026 postponed
The Controller of Examinations of BISE Peshawar announced on 6 October 2026 that the SSC Annual-II papers scheduled from 7 to 10 October are postponed. The board linked the decision to the PTI long march. It said new dates for these papers will be announced later, and papers scheduled after 10 October will be held according to the original date sheet.

BISE Bannu SSC Annual-II papers postponed
BISE Bannu postponed the SSC Annual-II and Oriental Languages Examination 2026 papers of 7, 8, 9 and 10 October through a notification dated 3 October. The decision covers Bannu, Lakki Marwat and North Waziristan.
The board cited the security situation and the suspension of mobile phone and internet services, which would delay roll numbers, duty letters and the delivery of exam material to centres. New dates for the postponed papers will be announced separately. All other papers will be held as scheduled.
BISE DI Khan matric exams to start on 12 October
BISE Dera Ismail Khan has also postponed the matric exams of 7 to 10 October because of the suspension of mobile phone services. According to reports in Dawn and ProPakistani, the exams will now begin on 12 October 2026. The board covers DI Khan, Tank and the Waziristan districts.
KP board exams postponed: Swat, Malakand, Kohat, Mardan and Abbottabad
BISE Swat: In a press release reported by APP on 6 October, the board said the SSC Annual-II exam will now formally begin on 12 October with the Class 10 Physics paper, and the rest of the papers will follow the old date sheet. New dates for the papers of 7 to 10 October will be announced later. This applies to candidates in Swat, Shangla and Buner. Exam staff will use 9 October as a preparation day.
BISE Malakand, Mardan and Abbottabad: These boards have postponed the SSC Annual-II and Oriental Languages papers of 7, 8, 9 and 10 October, and will announce new dates later. BISE Malakand posted a press release about the SSC Annual-II exam on its website on 5 October.
BISE Kohat: The board has postponed the same four papers. Check the Kohat board website or ask your school for the new dates before you plan your preparation. All its other papers stay as per the original date sheet.

- Open your board’s official website, for example bisep.edu.pk for Peshawar, bisedik.edu.pk for DI Khan, bisemalakand.edu.pk for Malakand or bisekt.edu.pk for Kohat.
- Look at the latest notifications on the home page for the SSC Annual-II Exam 2026 date sheet or postponement notice.
- Download the date sheet and note the new date of every paper you are appearing in.
- To download your slip, use the board’s SSC Annual-II roll number slip link on the same site (Peshawar: portal.bisep.edu.pk, DI Khan: portal.bisedik.edu.pk).
- Students in areas where mobile and internet services are suspended should check with their school or exam centre.
