According to the FPSC public notice, these are the Board of Investment posts affected:

All other posts in the Phase III testing programme are not affected by this notice. If you applied for a different FPSC post, follow the schedule and admission certificate for that case.

Why the tests were postponed

FPSC said the recruitment process for these posts has been put on hold until further orders on the request of the department. The commission has not given any other reason and has not said when the tests will be held.

This is separate from the interviews FPSC postponed on 24 and 25 September 2026 at its Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar centres because of road closures and the law and order situation. New dates for those interviews are also expected to be announced by the commission.

What applicants should do now

  1. Keep your online application details and fee payment record safe. Your application stays with FPSC while the case is on hold.
  2. Visit the official website www.fpsc.gov.pk and open “Latest Updates” to read the public notice titled “Postponement of Board of Investment Cases”.
  3. Check the “Admission Certificates” section under General Recruitment before any test, so you know whether a new date has been set for your case.
  4. Do not trust messages or calls that promise a seat or ask for money. FPSC only shares updates through its own website.
