PIMS nursing admission 2026 eligibility
You can apply if you meet all of these conditions set in the official notice:
- Matric in Science with Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
- FSc Pre-Medical with at least 50% marks, with Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
- Age between 16 and 35 years.
- You appeared in the SZABMU entry test on 1 September 2026 and scored 50 marks or more.
- Both single and married candidates can apply.
If you did not sit the SZABMU test on 1 September, you are not eligible for this intake, even with high FSc marks.

Women get 90% of the selection and men 10%, across these quotas.
PIMS nursing merit formula
Merit is worked out from three parts:
- SZABMU entry test: 50%
- FSc Pre-Medical marks: 35%
- Matric marks: 15%
Because the test carries half the weight, a strong test score matters more than a few extra marks in FSc. Admission letters are issued only after your documents are verified.

- Go to the School of Nursing, PIMS, G-8/3 Islamabad, between 8 am and 2 pm on an office day.
- Get the prospectus and admission form. They are available for 10 days after the advertisement was released.
- Fill in the form so that your name and details match your CNIC or B-Form and certificates exactly.
- Attach attested copies of the documents listed below.
- Submit the completed form at the School of Nursing before the closing date.
