Candidates must apply online on the PHSA website by 5:00 pm on 16 October 2026. Only those who appeared in KMU-CAT 2026 can apply.

Seats in each college are split 90% for female and 10% for male candidates. Minorities get 2% of the seats in each college.
Eligibility and merit criteria
- FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent with at least 50% marks, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Appearance in KMU-CAT 2026 is compulsory. Candidates who did not take the test are not eligible.
- Maximum age 35 years on the closing date of online applications.
- Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the newly merged districts.
Merit is calculated out of 100% with this weightage:

Hafiz-e-Quran candidates who pass the PHSA Hifz test get 20 extra marks added to their FSc marks. They need a valid certificate from a registered Deeni Madrasa.
How to apply
- Go to the official PHSA website, phsa.edu.pk, and open the Admissions section.
- Read the BS Nursing prospectus carefully before you fill in the form.
- Register on the applicant portal and complete the online form. Give correct, active mobile numbers, as PHSA sends updates through its website and contact details.
- Deposit the Rs 500 processing fee at any National Bank of Pakistan Aitemaad branch in the account named in the official advertisement.
- Submit the form before 5:00 pm on 16 October 2026. Late applications will not be accepted. Do not apply separately to colleges.

Interviews will be held at the PHSA office on Budhni Road, Duranpur, Peshawar. PHSA will not send call letters, so check the website for the shortlist. A candidate who misses the interview loses the right to admission.

- Domicile certificate, CNIC or Form-B, and father’s CNIC
- Character certificate and passport-size photographs
- Deeni Madrasa certificate (Hafiz-e-Quran candidates only)
Fee after admission
The prospectus lists a one-time admission fee of Rs 2,000 and a refundable security of Rs 2,000. Each of the 8 semesters carries a tuition fee of Rs 6,000 and a college fund of Rs 5,000. PN&MC enrolment, university registration and exam fees are charged separately.
