How to Apply for PPSC Jobs Online: Step-by-Step Guide

This guide explains how to apply for PPSC jobs online through the Punjab Public Service Commission website. It is for anyone applying for a post advertised by PPSC who wants to complete the form, pay the fee and submit it without mistakes. PPSC applications are filled in online, and the fee is deposited using a PSID generated by the system.

Before you start

  • Open the advertisement for your post on the PPSC jobs page and read the qualification, age and experience rules. When we checked on 8 October 2026, that page did not list any currently advertised jobs, so watch it for the next advertisement.
  • Keep your CNIC number, an email address and a mobile number that you can verify.
  • Keep a recent photograph and a clear front image of your CNIC. PPSC says each image must be under 25KB.
  • Keep your qualification details ready, and your service record if you are already in service.
  • Read the “Important Instructions” and the “EPay User Manual” on the PPSC website before you begin.

How to apply for PPSC jobs online: steps

  1. Open the portal. Go to ppsc.gop.pk and select “Apply Online”.
  2. Choose your post. Review the post details and eligibility, then continue.
  3. Read the instructions. Read the Important Instructions and the EPay User Manual, tick the undertaking checkbox and start the application.
  4. Enter your CNIC number and continue.
  5. Add contact details. Enter your email address and mobile number. On the verification page, check them. Use the change option if they are wrong, or verify them if they are correct.
  6. Fill in your profile. Enter your date of birth, gender, employment type, disability status, armed person status and the other requested details, then save your personal information.
  7. Pay the fee. The system generates a PSID (Payment System Identifier). Pay the fee for your post as explained in the EPay User Manual.
  8. Upload images. Upload your latest photograph and the front of your CNIC, each under 25KB.
  9. Add qualifications and, if it applies to you, your service record. Save each section.
  10. Submit. Once everything is complete, the “Submit Application” button becomes active. Read the undertaking, tick the checkbox and click Submit Application.

After submission you receive an Application Number. PPSC says you also get an email and SMS confirming submission, along with a Token Number that you need to edit or print your application. Portal screens change from time to time, so follow the instructions shown on the official site if they differ from the steps above.

How to pay the PPSC fee

PPSC says applicants should deposit fees online using ATMs, mobile phone banking or internet banking. Its jobs page also tells applicants to pay the challan using the PSID under the “GoPb” biller option. Fee deposited on the old PPSC challan form (32-A), or by bank draft, pay order or cheque, is not acceptable. The fee amount depends on the post, so check your advertisement and the EPay User Manual. We have not listed any amount here because PPSC does not publish one single fee for all posts.

After you apply

  • Resume an unfinished form: if you leave before submitting, the system saves your progress. Choose Apply Online again, select the same post, enter your CNIC and complete the remaining steps.
  • Edit your application: you can edit only after it has been successfully submitted. Use your Token Number as instructed on the site.
  • Keep your records: save the Application Number, Token Number and a printout of your application.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Paying and stopping. The application counts only after you click Submit Application.
  • Oversized images. Photos or CNIC images above 25KB may not upload.
  • Wrong mobile number or email. Confirmation messages are sent to the contact details you verify.
  • Using the old challan. PPSC does not accept fee on the old 32-A challan form, bank drafts, pay orders or cheques.
  • Waiting for the last day. The PPSC website itself asks applicants not to wait for the last date.
  • Trusting fake pages. PPSC warns about fraudulent websites and social media pages. Use only the official website.
