NASTP NIVT Admission 2026: EASA B1/B2 Course (Closed, Last Date 4 Oct)

NASTP NIVT admission 2026 was open for the EASA-approved B1/B2 aircraft maintenance engineering programme at the NIVT training centre in Kharian. Applications were taken online through NTS, and the last date was 4 October 2026. Students who score well can get up to a 100% scholarship.

The NASTP Institute of Vocational Training (NIVT) runs the course with Flyon Aero of Italy. Candidates aged 16 to 25 with FSc, A-levels or an equivalent qualification were eligible to apply.

EASA B1/B2 course offered at NIVT

The programme follows the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-66 licence system. NIVT says it is the basic training for Category B licences, which come in two streams:

  • B1: mechanical work on aircraft, such as engines and airframes.
  • B2: avionics, which covers instruments and electronic equipment.

B licence holders can sign off an aircraft as fit to return to service. ProPakistani reports that the course takes two years and covers the B1.1 and B2 categories under EASA Part-147 approval number IT.147.0016.

Eligibility and scholarship for the aircraft maintenance course in Pakistan

  • Age between 16 and 25 years (NTS project page).
  • FSc, A-levels or an equivalent qualification. The advertisement does not set minimum marks.
  • Admission is through an NTS entry test. ProPakistani reports that the test covers Mathematics, Physics, English and Logical Reasoning. The NIVT admissions page links to the full entry test syllabus.
  • NIVT offers scholarships of up to 100% to high achievers. According to the advertisement, merit-based scholarships and free accommodation are available to selected students.

How applications were made

  1. Open the NTS project page for the “EASA Certified Basic B1/B2 Course Admission Test” (code 2609101) on portal.nts.org.pk.
  2. Register or log in to your NTS candidate account.
  3. Fill in the online form with your personal and education details.
  4. Generate the fee challan for Rs820 plus Rs10 service charges.
  5. Pay the fee through a 1Link bank branch, ATM, internet or mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash or a TCS counter.
  6. Submit the form before the deadline on 4 October 2026. NTS does not accept forms by hand.
