How to Check BISE Result Online by Roll Number (2026)

This guide shows how to check your BISE result online using your roll number, and what to do if the website will not load. It is for matric (SSC) and intermediate (HSSC) students and parents in Punjab and across Pakistan, and uses the official BISE Lahore and Federal Board (FBISE) result pages as examples.

Before you start

  • Your roll number. Find it on your roll number slip or admission card.
  • The exact name of your board, for example BISE Lahore or FBISE. Each board runs its own result page, so a roll number only works on the board that issued it.
  • The class and exam type: matric (9th or 10th), intermediate (11th or 12th), annual or supplementary, and the year.
  • A phone or computer with a stable internet connection.

How to check BISE result online by roll number

  1. Open your board’s official website. Type the address yourself or open it from the board’s own homepage. Lists of “all board results” on other websites are not official.
  2. Go to the Results section. Boards usually put an “Online Results” or “Results” link on the homepage. BISE Lahore shows “Online Results” on its homepage and opens a separate result page at result.biselahore.com.
  3. Select the class. The BISE Lahore result page has separate Matric and Intermediate options.
  4. Enter your roll number. Type it exactly as printed on your slip.
  5. Choose the exam type and year. On the BISE Lahore page you pick Part-I (Annual), Part-II (Annual) or Supplementary, then the year.
  6. Enter the captcha and submit. Your result opens on screen. Take a screenshot or print it for your records.

Every board’s page looks a little different, so follow the instructions shown on the official site.

How to check a result by name (FBISE example)

Some boards also let you search with your name. The FBISE student result page at portal.fbise.edu.pk asks you to select the exam from a list (for example HSSC-II or SSC-II, with the year), then enter your roll number and student name before pressing Search Result. If your board does not offer a name search, use your roll number.

After you check your result

  • Result card: BISE Lahore has separate pages for downloading regular and private result cards. Regular students may need to get theirs through their institution’s login, so ask your school or college if the page asks for details you do not have.
  • Rechecking: if you doubt your marks, look for the rechecking or re-totalling notice on your board’s website. BISE Lahore publishes rechecking application and status pages for each exam, and the deadline is set in the board’s notice.
  • Next steps: use your result for college admission, merit lists or scholarship forms. Keep a clear copy.

Common mistakes

  • Using the wrong board’s website for your roll number.
  • Selecting the wrong exam type or year, such as Annual instead of Supplementary.
  • Adding spaces or extra digits to the roll number.
  • Mistyping the captcha. Refresh it and try again if it is unclear.
  • Trusting a website that asks for payment to show a free result. Official boards publish results for free.

If the page is slow on result day, wait a few minutes and try again, or check the board’s official social media pages for notices.

Frequently asked questions

Can I check my BISE result without a roll number?

Some boards, such as FBISE, offer a search with your student name along with the roll number. If you lost your roll number, check your admission card or ask your school or college.

Is the online result an official document?

The online result is for information. For admissions and jobs you will need the official result card or certificate issued by your board, so follow your board’s instructions for collecting it.

What if my roll number shows no result?

Check the class, exam type and year, then try again. If it still fails, contact your institution or the board using the contact details on the official website.
