Who this extension is for
The schedule is for regular students who have passed matric and joined first year (FA, FSc, ICS, ICom and similar groups) at a school or college in Punjab for the 2026-28 session. Your Class 11 registration with the board is what allows you to sit the HSSC Part-I exam, so missing it can cause problems later.
Private candidates have a separate registration schedule. Check the notifications page of your board for it.
What happens to the late fee already paid?
Students who paid the Rs600 late fee after 5 October will get it back from their board, according to reports of the committee’s decision by ProPakistani and Bloom Pakistan. Ask your college or board office how the refund will be made.
How to complete Class 11 registration
- Go to your school or college admission office. For regular students, the institution enters your data online on the board’s registration system.
- Check that your name, father’s name and date of birth match your matric record before the data is submitted.
- Pay the fee through the computerised bank challan generated by the board’s system. Keep the receipt.
- The institution then submits the original fee challan and a hard copy of the enrolment return to the board.
- The no late fee date of 12 October 2026 has passed. Complete all of this by 27 October 2026, and expect to pay the Rs600 late fee.
If you passed matric from another board, ask your college whether you need a migration certificate (NOC) first, as this can take extra time.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Waiting for the last day: board portals and bank branches get busy near the deadline. The late fee window closes on 27 October 2026, so do not leave it to the final days.
- Wrong spelling or date of birth: errors entered now can carry on to your intermediate certificate, and fixing them later takes time and fees.
- Assuming the college has done it: ask the admission office to confirm your registration has been submitted.
